A community development project funded by the IRT Foundation , Capturing Culture provided an opportunity for the children and young people of Coomaditchie to spend time with the Elders in the community to capture and record their stories and learn more about their culture. The children created videos  (see below) as well as artwork that depicted some of the shared stories. The artwork was used to create several products, including a picture book,  which Coomaditchie are offering for sale in our Market Place.  The picture book features artwork by the children and a retelling of the Five Islands Dreaming Story.
